...Charges them to enrich their spiritual connection with Allah
Dr Barr. Olumuyiwa Adu "Cubana" has extended his felicitations to all the Muslims on the celebration of Eid al-Adha.
In his official release via his media outlet, Dr Adu described this annual Islamic festival to mark the pinnacle of hajj rituals as an echo of profound story of faith and obedience.
According to the renowned Philanthropist and Ondo Central Senatorial Hopeful: "Eid al-Adha is not merely a celebration but a memorable reminder of the virtues of faith, obedience, sacrifice and compassion.
"The spiritual essence revolves around total submission, deep devotion and the recognition that true faith requires prioritization of God's will above all cherished possessions or desires.
"It also teaches social solidarity, charity and empathy that foster community harmony, forgiveness and brotherhood."
On the immortalization of these great values, Dr. Adu charged Muslim ummah to incorporate obedience, trust and submission to the will of Allah while sharing love and kindness to others in their daily engagements.
"As we commemorate this sacred occasion, let us reflect on the lessons of Prophet Ibrahim (May peace be unto him) and strive to renew our devotion to Allah. Let us embrace the opportunities for spiritual growth and imbibe the timeless wisdom of the Quran," Dr Adu sermonised.
"May Almighty Allah accept our good deeds and sacrifices, forgive our sins, bless us with steadfast faith, and cleanse our hearts and grant peace and prosperity to all," Dr Adu fervently prayed.
